Program 1: Package Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai Duration: 4 Night 5 Day
Day 1: Pick up from Chiang Mai Airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit temples in Chiang Mai city and local markets. In the evening, enjoy northern foods Khantoke dinner with an impressive show by northern Thai and Hill Tribe performers.
Day 2: Breakfast at hotel. Visit Doi Suthep temple, the most sacred royal temple in the north of Thailand, on top of a mountain, 1,053 meters above sea level. Visit handicrafts factories in Sankampaeng Village. Return to hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Chiang Rai. Visit orchid farm and elephant camp (elephant ride is optional). Lunch in a local restaurant. Take a rapid boat along the River Kok, a tributary of Salaween River which originates in Burma. Visit Hill Tribes along the way, then travel by boat for one more hour. Return to hotel.
Day 4: Breakfast at hotel. Visit Kings mother royal villa and garden. Down the hill, visit the Thailand-Burma border where you can see the trade and ways of living of 2 countries. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Golden Triangle and its compound. Return to hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast at hotel. Visit White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), regarded as one of the most beautiful structures in Thailand. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for flight to Bangkok.
